Tip: Filter to search today's bullish stocks

One of my favorite filters to search todays bullish stocks is by using the counters CSTI and MS counters. Follow the following steps:

1. In the Bull drop down top level menus, select Bulls>Last Scan
2. In the filter section of the page and in the lower left area are the counter filters. Select CSTI>=1, and MS>=1. Click "Filter" button.
3. You should see the results. If you want to see how they perform today, you can click on the "Go Yahoo" link which is below the "Filter" button. The link will open a new browser window.

I thought that this might help you get started using the tool.

Trading Tips

The Asian and European markets can be used as a possible guide to get an idea of which direction the US market is likely to go in. For example, if the Nikkei is down 3%, the DAX is down 2.3% then there is a strong possibility the US Futures and stocks will end up down overall. The US futures will have been trading down in their overnight session with Asia/Europe aswell, so there could be an immediate rally at the 9am open before moving down further.
