18-DEC-2008 Yesterday's top bullish industry up in today's bear market

Thursday, 18 December 2008 15:59 by Guest

Yesterday's industry scan returned Close-End Fund - Debt as the most bullish industry with 44 bullish and 15 bearish stocks. Today it maintained that spot and continued to rally against the bear market but with declining volume.

There is no clear guidance from the industry scan as the number of bullish stocks in the top 5 industries are relatively small. We can still find individual bullish stocks using the Bullish  - Pure Technical scans. This scan searchers for stocks with indicator counters of CSTI>=1 and MS>=1. The scan returned 18 records with an average gain of +4.32%.Smile The highest gainer was AUXL with +14.81%. Smile
